My Experience with Smile Brilliant- An Easy At Home Teeth Whitener!

(originally posted on 27 June 2019)

Hi! Welcome to Be the Sunshinee!

Today I am so excited to share my collaboration with SMILE BRILLIANT! If you’re unfamiliar with Smile Brilliant let me fill you in! Smile Brilliant is a teeth whiting company that, obviously, allows you to white your teeth! The best part is you get to do it from the comfort of your own home, on your own time!

That is the biggest thing I love about Smile Brilliant! As someone who is balancing a full time job, being a full time dog mama, a part time student, working out, eating healthy, traveling, and maintaining a social life- I need something that fits into MY schedule! I love that I can do my treatments anytime, anywhere! Over the last few weeks I have been putting my teeth whitening trays in right before I jump in the shower so I can kill two birds with one stone!

My smile and my teeth have always been something I’ve been a little self-conscious about it. I’ve got a bit of a crocked smile just like my mama and my bottom teeth are a little bit wonky too. I had braces on the first four top teeth when I was younger but I’ve never had any dental work done on my bottom teeth and I’ve never used any teeth whitening treatments in the past so when Smile Brilliant reached out to me I was ecstatic.

As I’ve continued to grow my blog and my Instagram over the last year and a half I’ve had to learn to be more comfortable in front of the camera. I’m not tottally comfortable yet, and honestly I’m not sure if I ever will be. BUT, having a whiter and brighter smile definitely helps raise my confidence and smile bigger every day! And when you look good, you feel good and when you feel good you do good!

Here are some before and after photos so you can see my personal results!

I’m sure you know how easily coffee, wine, and other flavored drinks can stain your teeth. I am not a very heavy coffee or wine drinker, I mostly stick to water! But it’s still easy for your teeth to become discolored over time, which has been the case for me! I’ve always had pretty good dental hygiene, still to this day I have never had a cavity! One thing I do not do is floss. I get a stern talking to every year at my annual dentist appointment because my teeth bleed so badly during my cleaning. I was a little nervous that the teeth whiting gel would bother my teeth but for the most part I didn’t have any issues! The day after my first treatment my teeth definitely did have some irritation and discomfort so when I did my second treatment I used the de-sensitizing gel before (which is provided) and then I had no issues with the rest of my treatments!

Overall I had a great experience with Smile Brilliant and feel like I have noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth and for me, more importantly, I’ve gotten better at feeling better in front of the camera! If you have any questions about my personal experience or about Smile Brilliant in general please reach out and ask! I would love to answer any questions or concerns!
